PeriPera | ❄ Disney Frozen Collection ❄

02:54

So my supposedly uneventful Pink Day at Pavilion, KL, wasn't so uneventful after all. Ever since this Limited Edition range was released in Korea months - perhaps almost a year - ago, I didn't want to think of it too much and tried to avoid the hype... because of the devastation that it wouldn't be available in Malaysia or outside of Korea was just too much for me.

Well, surprise surprise.

My lovely readers, you can only imagine my excitement and absolute glee when I saw this lovely display up and ready for the beauty world in Watsons!

As you can see we have yet to receive the eyeliner kit but really, this is more than enough for me! I've had my eyes on the eyeshadow palette and lip-tint from the very beginning!

Now all Malaysians would be faced with the ultimate problem:

Of course, we all would love to have Elsa's products (I mean, who wouldn't, she's gorgeous)... but Anna's colours are more natural & we'd have a higher chance of using it compared to her glam sister...

Decisions! Decisions! The only proper answer is to buy it all!

Let it go~ Let it go~ *throws caution and wallet to the wind*

Apparently, there is a contest as well! Forgive me, readers, as I was rushed for time but it seems that if you collect a certain number of cards, you'd be able to redeem a Frozen Pouch (which in Korea, you would get for free if you purchase over a certain amount, but then again, that's Korea). And if you were to submit 5 cards, you'd get a costume party invitation to Neway. It's scheduled in December (how fitting, winter!... sorta) and you get free hair and face makeovers!

Forgive me for I only had time to swatch the lip-tints before I had to leave (it was only supposed to be a quick stop-by anyway). So here's Elsa's (above) and Anna (below).

Lovely colours! Elsa is a definite pink whereas Anna's is more of a coral-pink, which is so suitable for girls with tanned lips or a yellow skin undertone!

1 - Under fluorescent lights in Watsons
2 - Under natural light
3 - After wiping away the swatch with just a tissue, you can see that the colour has stained my skin. Love PeriPera's staying power!

❄ PeriPera: Disney Frozen Collection [Limited Edition]
Magic Glam Lip Colour (marketed as "Tint" in Korea)
     - No. 1 Let It Go (Elsa)
     - No. 2 Happy, Kristoff (Anna) - RM35.90
     - Elsa's colour  is "Pink Cranberry" whereas Anna's colour is described as "Coral"

Tap Tap 3 Eye Shadow Palette
     - No. 1 Let It Go (Elsa)
     - No. 2 Happy, Kristoff (Anna) - RM59.90

Watery Face Pride Up! Cushion Pact
     - A cushion BB cream with whitening, SPF 50++ and anti-wrinkle effects.
     - Claims to have a non-sticky, fresh feeling.
     - No. 1 Peach Beige
     - No. 2 Vanilla Beige - RM69.90

[Coming Soon] Wholly Deep Liner Kit
     - A collection of 5 shimmering eyeliners in a very fashionable case

No, "Cushion Pact" was not a typo. Please don't ask me whether you'll be signing your soul to the Ice Queen upon using this product or that immediately upon swatching, a snowman familiar would appear before you claiming it's your magical guardian. As of now, I have yet to make a pact with anyone via my BB cream so I am unable to share personal soul-binding contract-making experiences... For now.

Also, I'm a tad sad we're don't seem to be getting the gorgeous snow-hued nailpolishes which were available in Korea, complete with smiling Olaf. Hopefully they'll reconsider and bring it in soon!

Have you heard of the Limited Edition Frozen Collection before this?
Are you going to go raid your nearby Watsons now?
Are you ready to "Let It Go"?

  1. I didn't go all crazy over the Frozen hype, but I've been eyeing this collection ever since it was released in Korea. I like the look of Elsa's lip tint, and the eyeshadow kits, but I hope the eyeliners come in soon because I absolutely love eyeliners. Thanks for sharing! :)

    1. Hopefully they'll be coming in within the week because Watsons can't possibly think we can last long staring at that "Coming soon!" sticker! haha.

A few months ago, I'd be very much happy with just Anna's colour (being the bright and light person I am) but with fall around the corner, I think Elsa's colour will be very suitable very soon. =D

Thanks very much for commenting, Laura!

    1. Better grab 'em ASAP then! haha. It's definitely a hot range.
When this was released in Korea, I requested that my friend bring a product or two back but it was all sold out across Seoul!
Given that Astro has been religiously looping Frozen every evening for the past week, I have a feeling that there will be quite a *cough* significant rise in impulse buys. haha.
Thanks very muchly for commenting, Tara!

Fun fact, the stain left from the swatch on my hand lasted till the next day. (it was still faintly pink after 24 hours ahaha)
Also, thanks so much, Charis!! I think I'm already following you so yay! =D

  7. RM 69.90 for the cushion pact? That's not too bad if you compare it to Etude's version that is going for RM 119.90. Perhaps I should give it a try and see how it goes? Oooh, did nobody stop you when you snapped those pictures?

Btw sweetie, I am so sorry but you might not want to put your URL (website) in the comment body on my blog as it may cause your comment to be marked as spam.

    1. Yowza! I wasn't aware that Etude was that pricey over here! I purchase my Etude from RubyRubyshop on Ebay, which isn't always the most recommended thing but I feel that it's quite a reputable shop. Also, the only shop that seemed strongly opposed to picture-taking was SaSa, in my experience.

Whoops sorry about that! The link is in a default signature for every comment I write ^^; I'll omit it when it comes to your blog, Bijin! =D

    1. Elsa definitely has the better colours, hands down!
This range makes me sad though because now I wish that other Disney Princesses would have PeriPera ranges centered around them as well~ Would love an Ariel eyeshadow palette ^^
Also, I've followed you back~ Thanks so much for following me, I hope you'll continue to enjoy what I write. =D

    1. Yep, we've got PeriPera here but it's not the entire range, as noted by my Korean friend. We seem to focus a lot on the water tints and nailpolishes here for some reason haha. Or maybe that's just how the local display is arranged, I'm not too sure ^^
And aww thanks so much for following! I'll be following you as well. ^^
